NOTES

Two years ago, Jodi Johnson and I went on a journey together, a journey to make Saving Winston. Because this was Jodi's first produced screenplay and my most ambitious project to date, we had to put our faith in the Lord. We named our production company A Few Good Samaritans, because that's what we needed to pull this film off, a few good Samaritans.

And God provided.

At every turn, all our needs were met, investors, locations, actors, contacts, volunteers. God provided exactly what we needed. This entire project has been blessed from the very beginning. On a daily basis, God showed us miraculous solutions to problems that could have easily kept this film from ever being completed.

Saving Winston continues to have so many positive “coincidences” that I've lost count. I no longer believe in “coincidences”, I now know they are all part of God's plan.

Our journey began with a story about a girl and a horse, and now as the film enters the final phases of post-production, we thank God for all His blessings and for showing us the power of prayer, fellowship, and especially faith.
